Ashford WI Croquet Day

On September 14th 2022 members of Bakewell Croquet Club visited Ashford in the Water to instruct the WI in basic Croquet moves. The session ended with a game of croquet. Many WI members showed a natural aptitude for croquet and said how much they had enjoyed the afternoon. Following play we ate an excellent afternoon tea in the sunshine. The photo shows Jean, our chair person, instructing the ladies.
